The current church was built early in the 1950’s. The first Mass was celebrated on Christmas Day, 1953. In 1990, Msgr. Jamail oversaw the renovation of the church.
At that time the Gathering Space was added, the confessionals were relocated and the current adoration chapel/cry room was added.
In the spring of 2011 the foundation of the church suffered major damage which called for another revamping of the building. At that time, the St. Jude alcove was incorporated as an open space allowing participation at mass to be more inclusive for the parishioners seated in this section.
The floor and pews were also replaced at this time. Many of the design elements incorporated with this remodel are outlined in Our Church Tells a Story. This short leaflet provides a short guided tour of the church and the art work within the church and is available on a designated tab.
